The National Disability Insurance Scheme is the new way of providing government-funded support for people with a disability and their families and carers.
The NDIS is designed to provide greater choice and personalised support. The NDIS will fund reasonable and necessary supports such as in home services, therapies, equipment, home modifications, mobility equipment, taking part in community activities or assistance with employment.
