Miracle Health Services support workers will undertake important tasks that our participants have physical restrictions or find difficult to do due to their disability.
The support we provide ranges from simple. practical support with everyday tasks such as cooking, housework, shopping, laundry, paying bills and administrative tasks; through to assistance with personal care including washing, dressing, medication, eating meals and even higher-level clinical or nursing support.
Innovative community participation can lead to improved wellbeing outcomes for people with disability and their carers in relation to health, employment, education and life satisfaction outcomes.
Miracle Health Services will work in partnership with our participants to plan, organise and facilitate mainstream activities that encourage community engagement and social inclusion for our participants.
Our Support Coordinators will assist you with implementing all supports in your plan, including informal, mainstream, and community, as well as funded support.
Do you need transport to medical appointments or to go shopping? Perhaps to visit friends or go to the movies? Miracle Health Services provides safe and reliable transport to get you to any community, social, work or daily life activities.
At Miracle Health Services we can help to understand why someone with a disability may display socially inappropriate, challenging, or unsafe behaviours, and work together to find a solution.
To begin, we will put together an assessment to help us understand what a person is communicating through different actions.
As part of this we may:
Support Coordinators can help you find and connect with different mainstream services.
This could be a TAFE course, a physiotherapist, or even getting a mental health plan through your GP.

Support Coordinators have the role of building the capacity of the participant to achieve greater independence to direct services and support them in the long-term.
